Sign in to ParrotKey

When you first open ParrotKey, you will see the login screen. From here, you can create your account or sign in using one of the supported providers.

ParrotKey offers two sign-in options:

• Google — click "Sign in with Google" and authorize with your Google account. You will be briefly redirected to Google to confirm your identity.
• Microsoft — click "Sign in with Microsoft" and authorize with your Microsoft account. This works with personal, work, and school Microsoft accounts.

After signing in, you will proceed to the onboarding setup where a welcome screen guides you through the initial configuration steps.

What your account stores

Your ParrotKey account securely stores your personal preferences, language settings, custom dictionary entries, and team membership information. This means your setup is always tied to your account and available wherever you use ParrotKey.

Syncing across devices

ParrotKey uses your account to sync settings across devices. When you sign in on a new computer, your preferences, dictionary, and configuration are automatically restored, so you can start working right away without reconfiguring anything.

Terms and Privacy

Links to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are displayed on the login screen. We recommend reviewing these before creating your account.

Troubleshooting login issues

If you are unable to sign in, try the following steps:

1. Check your internet connection — ParrotKey requires an active internet connection to authenticate with Google or Microsoft.
2. Try a different sign-in method — if Google is not working, try Microsoft, or vice versa.
3. Clear the app cache and try again — closing and reopening ParrotKey, or clearing the app data in your system settings, can resolve temporary authentication issues.
